Christmas Storyhouse Weekend with The Grinch

Join the Grinch for a family weekend of stories and activities at the Birthplace of Peter Pan.

Sat 7th & Sun 8th December 11am – 3pm

Follow the Story Trail to discover great Christmas reads and meet the Grinch himself – hopefully he’s in a good mood!

You can also plant your own bulbs to take home as a gift, make Christmas Crafts with Leo and explore the ‘enchanted land’ that inspired the story of Peter Pan.

Entry ticket for the House and Garden £2 per person

Café and shop open all day from 10am – 4pm (no entry ticket required)

Find some cracking Christmas gifts, books, toys and enjoy brunch, lunch, hot drinks and cakes in our beautiful café.

Christmas Storyhouse Weekend with The Grinch
“Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!”. Meet the Grinch, enjoy Christmas stories and books and join the Christmas Crafting workshops with Leo Marsh to make baubles and reindeer headbands. You can also plant a daffodil bulb as a Christmas Gift to take home. On Sunday there will also be a special chance to meet author Susi Briggs, illustrator Ruthie Redden and their new book Nip Nebs and the Last Berry and Facepainting with DGFunkyFaces on Sun 8th December 2019 at 12.30-2.30pm.

Winter Wonderland Adventures with Dawn Sarginson of Relax Kids
Wrap up warm and head into a world of imagination for an hour of fun with games, stories, movement, stretches, breathing, affirmations and mindful techniques. For children of all ages (under 5’s must be accompanied). ). Wear comfortable clothes and trainers.
