From Autumn to Christmas 2019, Moat Brae will be welcoming Deborah and Karen, also known as: ‘Do and Say’ to run monthly sensory storytelling sessions as part of our mission to bring the joys of storytelling to everyone.

Enter a journey of discovery as your child uses all their senses to join in with, listen to and tell well-loved children’s stories in a fun, interactive way.  Local sensory storytellers Do and Say will use recyclable resources that can you can then recreate at home.  The themes, characters and settings of the story will come to life. Sensory storytelling sessions are designed to encourage your child’s enjoyment of stories whilst also offering opportunities to develop communication, movement and participation skills.

Recommended for all children who would enjoy the stories – starting with Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpiller (especially children under 5 and young people with additional support needs)

Please call us on 01387 255549 to book or click here to email.  Please let us know of any special considerations before you arrive.
