STORYWEAVER
Let the mysterious Storyweaver be your very own guide through the realms of imagination.  The Storyweaver will spin the twin threads of creativity and magic to help your very own story.  Can you find the Storyweaver somewhere in the House when you visit?

Performances at 10.30am & 2.30pm
PETER PAN IN KENSINGTON GARDENS 

a 60 minute play presented by Betwixt & Between Theatre Co
Special Premiere performances in JM Barrie’s ‘Enchanted Land’ following a PREVIEW in Kensington, London and before the show goes to Edinburgh Festival Fringe. This performance is free with your entry ticket. 
Some performances will be outdoors but may go to our Garden Room if it rains, there may be limited audience capacity so we advise you arrive early to get your free place.  You can explore the House and Garden at Moat Brae before or after you see the play. SALLY THE MAGIC GARDENER
 Come and meet our Gardener, Old Sally, who tends to the plants around Moat Brae and looks after the fairies. The garden at Moat Brae is a magical place, filled with fairies and pirates.  And Old Sally, who will tell you a story if you ask her nicely, makes sure that the fairies don’t misbehave too much.

MORAG THE MAID

Let Morag the Maid lead you down memory lane at Moat Brae, the house that was once known as ‘Number One Dumfries’.  Learn more about the history of this special place with Morag the Maid, our very own historical storyteller. Morag likes to greet you on the ground floor of the old house.
