We are extremely grateful to Val who shares her expertise and love of gardens and plants to spread the word about Moat Brae and to raise funds for the Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust.
“For the last few years, I have been giving presentations to Local Groups, featuring my many travels abroad. Although my main interest is in Gardens and Plants, I also investigate the variety of cultural traditions and history of each country. I amass an enormous quantity of photographs on my small Canon Ixus camera and have to edit them ruthlessly, before the transfer to Power Point. Recent talks to Garden Clubs, Rotary, Rurals and Retirement Groups have featured Chile, Argentina, Ethiopia, The Seychelles, Uzbekistan and Islands of the Caribbean. I already have two bookings for 2016!
As I do not request a fee, donations to the Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust are gratefully accepted. I am proud to be associated with the Trust, and will continue my support for this challenging venture in Dumfries.”
