Ten students braved the cold Scottish winter to discover Moat Brae – where Peter Pan began. Before their visit only two of them knew the tale of Peter Pan, but hopefully they will now be spreading the story far and wide as well as taking with them a unique insight into the complexities of a dynamic heritage development project like ours. The international students from Glasgow University’s Heritage Management Studiens course are originally from Japan, China, Vietnam, Malawi, Poland, Cyprus, Portugal, Kazakhstan and USA. They were given a full tour of the house and garden by Trustee Flora Burns and hopefully go off now, better informed about our local heritage project and Peter Pan. Dr Lizanne Henderson, lecturer in Scottish History from Glasgow University accompanied the group.
