One of the most wonderful events of Summer 2016 was the visit from Drigg Young Farmers who travelled from near Egremont in Cumbria, stopping off at Gretna Gateway to walk the enchanted bridge and then came to see the enchanted land at Moat Brae for which they have raised over £16,000. This extraordinary group of people have staged a Peter Panto, a Fancy Dress Sponsored Walk and many, many other initiatives to raise a staggering amount of money. This is all in support of the Fawcett family in memory of little Jake who was a huge fan of Peter Pan.
Don’t they make the house and garden light up with colour? Thank you all so much for helping to make Moat Brae such a magical place.
